Angus M Robinson

Angus is the Managing Partner of Leisure Solutions® which offers a range of strategic services which includes product development of inbound/outbound specialised group travel for the +45 yo alumni market interested in eco and cultural tourism, and specialised knowledge of geoscience characteristics of ecotourism.

In recent years, Angus has also served as Chief Executive of AEEMA Ltd, a peak national industry association, as inaugural General Manager of the Australian Technology Park in Sydney, and prior to 1998, he served for five years as the General Manager of The Warren Centre for Advanced Engineering, an industry-linked, technology-diffusion foundation of The University of Sydney.

In earlier years, he has held senior executive roles with the Zoological Parks Board of NSW developing the Board’s international marketing programs, as inaugural Museum Director of The Earth Exchange Museum in Sydney, and as the Area Manager of the Mt Hotham Alpine Resort in Victoria.

In 2000, Leisure Solutions® authored a publication for Tourism Queensland to assist tourism operators in ‘going online’.

Angus’ other interests include non-executive roles as a Director (Marketing) of the National Parks and Wildlife Foundation, and as a member of the National Executive of the Australia-Taiwan Business Council. A geoscience graduate of The University of Melbourne with an extensive professional background in natural resources management, Angus is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Management, a Fellow and Chartered Professional (Management) of The AusIMM, and a Member of the Environment Institute of Australia and New Zealand.

Angus is also strongly committed to Rotary as President of Rotary eClub One, the world’s first internet-based Rotary Club.
