Jude Franks has had over 24 years experience working in the Tourism Industry at senior executive level in Tasmania and has significant experience in all areas of tourism management, marketing, development and experiences.
Jude has been highly successful both as a co
nsultant and member of executive teams with a well demonstrated record of success commercially and strategically. Has a broad and in depth knowledge of the Tourism industry.
For the past 5 years she held the position of Group General Manager Sales and Marketing for the Federal Group leading a large team through a market shaping period of acquisitions, strategies and product design and development.
A major focus at that time for the company was in the area of understanding and development of experiential tourism, particularly within Tasmania’s iconic West and East Coast and in the Cradle Mountain Area.
Prior to this role Jude held senior positions with The Hotel Grand Chancellor & Federation Convention Centre and the Innkeepers Corporation. She has been project consultant on many other new developments, hotels, attractions, heritage and eco-tourism experiences. She has extensive experience and has led teams in areas such as conference business and experiential tourism, brand development and management, research and project management, revenue management, public relations and e-commerce .
She has also held positions on Boards and committees in regional tourism and was until recently Deputy Chairman of the Tasmanian Convention Bureau.
Jude has many well demonstrated commercial successes both in project development and in areas of tourism management and marketing. This has been across all levels of industry from the 3 tiers of government, to major enterprises, to small businesses just starting out.
