We invite you to join us in Adelaide...

With the 2008 Conference on Green Travel, Climate Change and Ecotourism, Ecotourism Australia is presenting new and innovative conference themes and structure.

The impacts of climate change are already having marked effects on the tourism industry and a number of conference keynote speakers and concurrent sessions will provide valuable information on how we can make operational changes to reduce our environmental footprint and anticipate the changes that are likely to occur within the overall tourism industry.

Allied to this will be the presentation of Climate Action Certification recently developed and trialed by Ecotourism Australia – another world first. Climate Action Australia has been established by Ecotourism Australia to provide the tourism industry with a timely response to this globally important issue.

The conference will also include two regional theme streams – the Fleurieu Peninsula and Kangaroo Island – two of the most beautiful and exciting areas of Australia.

The regional streams and conference social events have been designed to provide you with quality networking opportunities and a one day concurrent session will again be dedicated to the popular Tourism Operators Workshop.

We hope you will join us in beautiful Adelaide for this exciting event - an event that will provide you with the opportunity to discover the new directions leading our industry to sustainability.
