Deutsche Bank refuses to fund controversial Abbot Point coal terminal

One of the world's leading investment banks is refusing to consider funding the expansion of a Queensland coal terminal which would become the world's largest coal port, following the visit of a Whitsunday tourism operator Tony Brown who flew to Europe to attend the AGM and question the bank's board.

This four day workshop will showcase the dramatic landscape of the region, its frontier history and the enormous tourism future of Australia’s North West. El Questro Wilderness Park is an iconic destination covering over one million acres and boasting spectacular settings for its diverse accommodation and Ranger guided tours, barramundi fishing, horse trekking and helicopter adventures. National Landscapes Signature Product & ECO Certification Workshop – 25 June, Port Augusta

Ecotourism Australia will deliver an industry workshop to assist Flinders Ranges and Outback operators in achieving ECO certification and meeting the National Landscapes Signature Product Nature Criteria. South Australia Tourism Commission will also be running an international export ready component to the workshop.
