Access is available year round by road, or by chartered planes to its own airport.

A truly great day tour for people who appreciate the outdoors at its best. As the sun rises over Kakadu, go off-road winding through savannah woodland to the edge of the Arnhem Land Escarpment. Bushwalk through the monsoon forest negotiating rocks along the river gorge before standing, encircled by towering 150 metre cliffs, at the shaded pool at the base of Jim Jim Falls. A short 4WD, tranquil cruise with Indigenous Cultural Guide, and walk along a trail carved into the gorge cliff-face transports you to the sandy beach and dual falls of Twin Falls. Cooinda Lodge Kakadu also operates Warradjan Cultural Centre which is just 1km from the lodge. Showcasing paintings and crafts by the local indigenous clans, these works have captured the international art world's admiration. You can also discover the culture that spans a millenia. Admission is free.

Yellow Water Cruise

The ultimate wetland experience! Cruise the wetlands of Kakadu experiencing amazing bird life (Jabirus, Brolgas, Sea Eagles, Whistling Kites, etc). Yellow Water is located in the World Heritage Listed Kakadu National Park. Expert guides will navigate you through this area in a 1.5 or 2 hour cruise, providing relevant information on the indigenous history of the area, talk about local bush tucker, and explain the wildlife that makes Yellow Water its home through the six indigenous seasons.
