Tasmanian Walking Company
We are proudly Tasmanian, have been walking for over 30 years and in 2017 were inducted into the Australian Tourism Awards Hall of Fame for Ecotourism. We offer true Tasmanian hospitality. Our chef designs your meals, our guides connect you, our accommodation comforts and shelters you. Our history and reputation will be with you every step of the way. We want to provide you with an outstanding opportunity to step out of everyday life into nature and be revitalised. To experience a fresh, profound perspective of humanity, the environment and the possibilities they embody.
Ecotourism in Action
We are acutely aware of the impacts of both global climate change and local environmental degradation in the wilderness areas in which we operate. We follow best practice track guidelines on our walks. Our walks follow designated trails, and we remove all waste from our facilities, as well as recycling waste. We work closely with the Tasmanian Parks & Wildlife Service to ensure we have the most up-to-date guidelines, and we are often seen as leaders within our industry when it comes to environmental best practice. We continually monitor current best practice to ensure we are keeping up-to-date. We encourage our guests to engage with the natural surroundings, which often leads to a sense of ownership and custodianship of our wild places.
Bay of Fires Lodge Walk
Discover the breathtaking beaches along the east coast of Tasmania as you explore the Bay of Fires with us. Join a small group, led by our expert guides, and traverse this wonderfully remote landscape. The Bay of Fires offers an awe-inspiring escape, teeming with unique flora and fauna. Over the course of four days, immerse yourself in one of the most pristine environments that Tasmania has to offer. Walk the soft sandy beaches, explore secluded coves, kayak Ansons River and enjoy the uncomplicated luxury of our accommodation at the Forester Beach Camp and award-winning Bay of Fires Lodge. If you are looking for a little more indulgence why not have a signature treatment at our exclusive spa or enjoy the outdoor bathing pavilion.

A fully guided 6-day walk covering the iconic Overland Track, the rare beauty and diversity of Tasmania’s World Heritage-listed Cradle Mountain – Lake St Clair National Park is yours to discover. Expert guides take the lead across this ancient landscape, converting to chefs come evening. They’ll also take the heavy load, leaving you with a lightweight pack. At the end of each day, retreat to a hot shower, sumptuous meals, freshly baked bread, a glass of Tasmanian wine and a comfortable bed. We’ll take you all the way to Lake St Clair, Australia’s deepest freshwater lake. Welcome to the Overland Track our way. Welcome to our nature.
Three Capes Lodge Walk
The Three Capes Lodge Walk is a fully-guided walking experience along Tasmania’s dramatic Tasman Peninsula with the wild Southern Ocean as your constant. A boat trip, dolerite spires and 37,000 years of history form part of the journey. Settle in each evening in our architecturally-designed in-park lodges and enjoy Tasmania’s finest eats and drinks on this 46 kilometre walking adventure. Join us on the Three Capes Track. We are the only guided walking company authorised by the Tasmanian Parks & Wildlife Service to offer the Three Capes Track and stay within the national park each night.
Wineglass Bay Sail Walk
This amazing walk, the only one of its kind in Tasmania, takes in the spectacular beaches, peninsulas and island trails found in national parks along the east coast. Share with us the wonders of Maria Island, Freycinet Peninsula, Schouten Island and the Tasman Peninsula. This walk is supported by the spectacular Lady Eugenie, a 23-metre (75-ft) luxury classic ketch. Superb 3-course dinners are served either aboard Lady Eugenie or in the relaxed surrounds of a barefoot beach dinner under the stars. At times the itinerary will need to be changed due to sailing conditions. If alterations are made your guide and crew will keep you well informed.
