Wilpena Pound Resort
A haven of outback hospitality, the Wilpena Pound Resort is an Adnyamathanha-owned resort located within the spectacular Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park in South Australia, 430 kilometers north of Adelaide. The property complements its resort, glamping and camping accommodation offerings with 4WD tours, Aboriginal cultural experiences, bushwalking, cycling and scenic flights.
Aboriginal Cultural Tour
For a fascinating cultural experience join one of our experienced Yura guides for an entertaining and informative stroll from the Visitor Centre to Old Wilpena Station, one of South Australia's oldest and best preserved pastoral settlements. Walk along Wilpena Creek past magnificent stands of river red gums with stunning views of Wilpena Pound in the distance. As you pass through the station gate you'll step back 150 years to the early days of pastoral runs.
Along the way learn about the landscape and bio-diversity from and Adnyamathanha perspective. Wander among original buildings of a bygone pastoral era, delving into the settlement history of the region.
Ikara Safari Camp
Ikara Safari Camp offers visitors to Wilpena Pound a new ‘glamping’ experience. Located within the Flinders Ranges National Park, Ikara Safari Camp offers guests 15 premium Safari Tents complete with king size beds, en-suite bathrooms, luxury amenities, power and air-conditioning. Set amongst river red gums, native pines and abundant wildlife, Ikara Safari Camp will be the perfect base for exploring the National Park.
Wilpena Pound Camping
Situated in the Ikara-Flinders Ranges National Park, at the only entrance to the majestic Wilpena Pound. With 40 powered sites suitable for caravans, campervans and camper-trailers, and 400 natural bush sites shaded by red river gums, kangaroos and emus wander the campground, while wedge-tail eagles soar over the ancient landscape.

Comprising of 60 rooms, the resort blends effortlessly into the landscape and provides a comfortable accommodation base from which to explore the Flinders Ranges. All 60 rooms have reverse cycle air-conditioning, ensuite bathrooms.
